Terms of Service

1. Service Description

EPC Data ("we", "our", "the service") provides a Toyota genuine parts catalog with VIN decoder, exploded diagrams, OEM part numbers, and a REST API. The service is available at toyotaepc.com.

2. Account Registration

You may browse the catalog without an account (limited to 3 VIN decodes per day). Creating a free account increases your limit to 10 VIN decodes per day. Paid subscriptions provide unlimited decodes and API access. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and API keys.

3. Subscription Plans & Billing

• Free — 10 VIN decodes/day, no API access
• Pro ($19/mo) — Unlimited VIN decodes, saved vehicles & parts
• Starter ($99/mo) — API access, 50,000 requests/month
• Business ($199/mo) — API access, 200,000 requests/month
• Enterprise — Custom pricing, contact us

Subscriptions are billed monthly through Creem.io. You can cancel at any time from your dashboard — access continues until the end of the billing period. No refunds for partial months.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Scrape, crawl, or bulk-download data beyond your plan's API limits
• Share API keys with third parties or use them in multiple applications without authorization
• Attempt to bypass rate limits, authentication, or security measures
• Resell raw data obtained through the service without written permission
• Use the service for any illegal purpose

5. Data Accuracy

Parts data is aggregated from publicly available sources across the internet and compiled into a structured database for reference purposes. While we strive for accuracy, we do not guarantee that all information is complete, current, or error-free. Always verify part numbers with an authorized dealer before purchasing. Part numbers, names, and technical specifications are used for identification purposes only. EPC Data is an independent service and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any vehicle manufacturer.

6. API Usage

API access is subject to monthly request quotas based on your plan. Exceeding your quota returns HTTP 429. Unused quota does not roll over. We reserve the right to throttle or suspend accounts that abuse the API or negatively impact service performance.

7. Intellectual Property

Part numbers and technical specifications referenced on this platform are used solely for identification and compatibility purposes, which constitutes fair use. All such identifiers remain the property of their respective owners. EPC Data does not claim ownership of third-party part numbers or technical data. The EPC Data platform, website design, API, database compilation, and original content are our intellectual property. EPC Data is an independent service and is not affiliated with any vehicle manufacturer.

8. Limitation of Liability

The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any damages arising from use of the service, including but not limited to incorrect part identification, service downtime, or data loss. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid in the 12 months preceding the claim.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. You may delete your account at any time. Upon termination, your data will be deleted within 30 days except as required by law.

10. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. Material changes will be communicated via email to registered users.
